Foxconn the world’s largest contract maker of electronics, is again under scrutiny over yet another worker suicide.

US technology giant Apple, in turn has to defend its reputation as the death is linked to security concerns over a prototype of its iPhone.

Foxconn is the main supplier for Apple products, including the iPhone and iPod, and makes components for most of the leading electronics and computer companies in the world, including Sony, Hewlett-Packard, Dell and Intel. It is also the leading contract maker of mobile phones, manufacturing handsets for Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson.
